Restaurant Style Salsa
Serves: serves a crowd
  • 1 28-oz can peeled plum tomatoes, not drained
  • ¼ cup chopped red onions
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, lightly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt, or more to taste
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp sugar
  1. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse to desired consistency. I like to leave it a little on the chunkier side.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips.
  3. HINT: Like your salsa mild? Use 1 jalapeño and remove the seeds before adding.
